Vacation

My friends and I went on vacation to Hollywood, Florida with a day cruise to the Bahamas. We had a great time and got lots of good photos, but mostly just fun ones of us. Here are some a landscapes I took.

The Holidays

Cari Ann Wayman

Cari, aka yyellowbird on flickr, has a devoted following. A young photographer from Illinois, her work is mostly self-portraiture, although she also loves shooting abandoned places. She makes great use of light and bokeh textures which give her pictures an airy, dreamlike quality. Yet there is also something strange and slightly edgy about many of her photos. From her fashion and setting choices, Cari alternates between seeming like a girl from another time in our world and a modern girl caught in an older time. On her flickr set entitled "pictures of me", the subtitle is "i'm not conceited, i'm just lonely."
